Useful information

Packing

Products can be filled in new metal drums of 216.5 l capacity offered by Himsorbent JSC.

Drum net weight – 17 kg
Fill opening size – 2 ¾ inches

The drum holding capacity depends on the density of a product.

The drum holding capacity for various products is given below:

  • ACEG – 200 to 220 kg
  • Methyldiethanolamine - 200 to 215 kg

The products can also be filled in:

  • the Buyer’s containers (fill opening size should not be less than 2 ¾ inches);
  • tank trucks;
  • tank containers;
  • rail tank cars.

Note: while measuring a product mass through its volume and density, temperature parameters during the measurement need to be recorded and compared with those registered when filling the product since the product density, and, therefore, the volume, are temperature-specific (when the temperature decreases, the product volume is reduced).

Transportation

  • ex-works (in drums, or Buyer’s tanks by truck and tank trucks);
  • by rail cars (in drums, minimum rail car load – 110 drums, or 22 tons;
  • maximum rail car load – 220 drums, or 47 tons);
  • by rail tank cars (in bulk, minimum tank car load - 45 tons;
  • maximum tank car load–67 tons);
  •  transportation by Buyer’s trucks may be considered.

Transportation of products should comply with Cargo transportation regulations applicable for each type of transport.
